What are wisdom teeth?
They refer to the third and largest molars at the very back of the mouth. Usually there are 4 wisdom teeth in total, 2 in the upper jaw and 2 in the lower jaw, but from an evolutionary perspective, as the jawbone has become smaller and dental prosthetics have advanced, the loss rate of molars has decreased, so teeth that should erupt may fail to do so due to lack of space and become buried within the jawbone. In some cases, the wisdom teeth do not develop at all.

Precautions after wisdom tooth extraction
Bite firmly on the gauze for about 2-3 hours, and swallow or wipe away any saliva and blood pooling in your mouth.
Even after the bleeding has stopped, please refrain from using a straw.
After wisdom tooth extraction, please avoid bathing, exercise, drinking alcohol, and smoking.
Do not touch the extraction site with your tongue or irritate it with hard foods.
