Tooth Sensitivity

A symptom in which teeth feel sensitive and sharp pain when exposed to cold or sweet foods or during brushing.

It occurs when the enamel wears down or the gums recede, exposing the dentin. It can be relieved with desensitizing toothpaste, surface coating, and similar measures.
